Successful completion of the Project!On 3 November 2011 the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (the financial donor) made decision on the approval of the Completion Project Report concerning technical assistance project PL0435. No remarks on the implemented project activities, neither on the financial settlings were submitted. Thus, the project implementation, carried out by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, has been successfully completed. |

Succesful completion of all project activities (planned and additional)!All project activities have been successfully completed in the scope even extended than originally planned, which covered: implementation of originally planned 26 training modules and 2 expert studies as well as additional activities (financed from the savings in the project budget) in April 2011, including 3 training modules and additional expert studies to be used by the Polish FSA employees in the course of implementation of their professional duties. |

Summary of project implementationTill the end of February 2011 most of the originally planned project activities have been successfully implemented: the experts studies on insurance mediation and financial intermediaries in the EU countries have been developed and 24 out of 26 planned training modules have been implemented. All-in 410 employees of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, 5 representatives of the Ministry of Finance and 161 representatives of the insurance undertakings participated in the above-mentioned trainings, and some of them took part in a couple of training courses. The trainings were highly evaluated by the participants. The training materials have been distributed among the participants both in hard copy and through the project portal. The tender procedures regarding the last 2 originally planned training modules are ongoing. |

Attention: New Project activities – information on planned tender procedures in February and March 2011Due to the savings in the project budget, implementation of 6 new specialist training modules and development of 5 expert studies to be used for internal purpose of the Polish FSA are planned. The scope of the new activities has been accepted by the Intermediate Body - Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and is in line with the scope and goals of the project. The tender procedures regarding selection of contractors of the above mentioned project activities are ongoing. Information on tender procedures are published on the Polish FSA website:
